NARCAN Training May 9, 2019

A group of about 40 people get free training in the use of Narcan
Each went home with two free doses of Narcan to use in case of emergency.

The Sterling Heights Drug Free Coalition conducts free training sessions for people in the community who want to learn how to recognize and render aid to a person suffering from an opioid overdose. Tonight a group of about 40 people, many representing hotels in the area, convened at the Sterling Heights Police Department to receive this training. Each person who came went home with new knowledge they might potentially use to save the life of a family member, friend, or customer. They also received two free doses of Narcan to administer should they encounter someone who has overdosed.

Would you like to be alerted to when the next Narcan training session is scheduled? Email us for the info or give us a call.
